West Orange officials will be celebrating Arbor Day on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasantdale Elementary School, 555 Pleasant Valley Way, according to a township press release.
Mayor Robert Parisi, council members, other town officials, and school children are scheduled to attend the event, which will feature the planting of a thundercloud flowering plum tree.
The event will also have guest speakers, the presentation of the Heart of Green Award, and distribution of seedlings, according to a press release from the township.
